In his 2013-15 education budget proposal, State Superintendent Tony Evers requested full funding for sparsity aid, creation of a new high-cost transportation aid program, a modification to the current transportation aid formula for transporting students long distances, and creation of a digital learning portal that would facilitate classroom and professional development collaboration across the state.
